The spring carnival is quickly approaching so mark your calendars for Saturday, May 19th from 12 noon until 4 pm.
This event is FUN for the whole family and it will help the PTA raise money to provide special activities and events for our children.

This year the PTA is offering special discounts on advanced purchases of our new 20 game punch cards as well as our wristbands that will allow your child unlimited turns on the inflatable’s including a dual lane slide and an obstacle course. Kona Ice will once again be there with their mobile truck serving over 50 flavors of their delicious tropical shaved ice and this year we’re excited to have Sergio's Pizza join our festivities as our food vendor. Sergio's will be selling slices of New York style cheese or pepperoni pizza.
This year we’ll once again be raffling off an exciting grand prize... A NEW Play Station 3 160 GB game console with a Toy Story 3 video game!
We’re also excited to be able to offer even more silent auctions than ever before, to many of our neighborhood restaurants including Applebee’s, Shane’s Rib Shack, Coldstone Creamery, Dominic’s NY Pizzeria, San Jose Mexican Restaurant, Sergio's Pizza, Chili’s, Macaroni Grill, Champps, Tijuana Flats Mexican Grill, and many more!!
Want To Volunteer?
Here Are Some Ideas...
The Spring Carnival is a wonderful celebration for the students and a fun way for parents to support the school. In order to make this the very best Spring Carnival ever, we need the parents to volunteer. The more volunteers we have, the easier it will be on everyone.
Plans are coming together but many more volunteers are still needed to either help run the many Carnival activities on the day of or for help preparing the activities in the days leading up to the carnival. Still needed are parent volunteers to help with pre-carnival preparation, games, ticket tables, book or bake sales and set up or clean up. Thank you to those parents who have assisted so far or who have already signed up for some hours on the day.

Pre-Carnival Assistance
If you are unable to volunteer on the day of the Spring Carnival, we have many other ways that you can help leading up to the carnival. Other needs listed below:
If anyone knows of connections that we can take advantage of to rent discounted attractions such as popcorn machines, inflatables, dunk tanks and the like, this would be welcomed with opened arms.
GAMES GAMES GAMES - some of the games will require donations such as gently used books for the book walk and cakes and baked goods for the Cake Walk.
Silent Auctions
If you're a business owner or know of one who would like to donate a gift card or product for the silent auctions that would be great.
Or if you're a service provider that can donate services like massage certificates, meals, car washes, hair cut, nail manicure, etc that could work as well.
Activities such as weekend stays at lake homes, golf outings, rentals always make for a competitive auction
Are you an artist or craftsman that might want to donate a piece of art, jewelry or a gourmet baked item for the auction, it would be a good way to advertise your business.
Assistance the Day Of
Eager volunteers to help sell tickets, run a booth, direct people, and sell food are always welcome.
Do you have a classic car stashed away in the garage that you would love to show off. This would make a great attraction for the younger and older generations.
Are you an artist or craftsman that would like to set up a booth to sell your work with a portion of the proceeds going to the PTA.
